Insanity Max 30

Beachbody and Shaun T have done it again! This time it is Insanity Max 30. Insanity Max 30 comes from Shaun T the creator of Insanity, T25, Hip Hop Abs, and Rockin' Body.

Beachbody and Shaun T have done it again! This time it is Insanity Max 30. Insanity Max 30 comes from Shaun T the creator of Insanity, T25, Hip Hop Abs, and Rockin' Body.

Get the Insanity Max 30 Challenge Pack Now! ($25 off)

How is Insanity Max 30 different from T25 or Insanity? Insanity Max 30 comes with 150 new moves, has a modifier with the option to keep him/her on the screen at all times, and is only 30 minutes a day 5 days a week!

It is going to be the toughest 150 new cardio and strength moves from Shaun T to get you ripped and toned in 60 days. It is broken into 2 30-day phases.

Order Insanity Max 30 (Without Shakeology)

Why is it called Insanity Max 30?

Shaun T chose this name because you are going to MAX OUT at some point during every single workout. He wants you to give it everything you have then when you have to take a break you have MAXED OUT. You take a quick break and keep going. The point is to have your time increase every time you do that particular workout!

What is a modifier?

A modifier is a person who is doing the workout in the DVDs, but is modifying the moves and not going as hardcore as Shaun T. Unlike in Insanity, Max 30 will have a modifier at all times. You will even have the option of having him/her on the screen at all times. So that means that you can do this workout and keep it low impact at the same time!

Will I need equipment for Insanity Max 30?

No! You will be using your own body weight just like in Insanity. I have had the pleasure of doing several of the Max workouts now and you definitely don't need weights. You will feel the burn and get toned!

How much will it cost?

It's $119.95 for the workout, and the challenge pack is on sale for $180 allowing you to try Shakeology for half price! I recommend the challenge pack because it will help you with your nutrition which is 70% of any workout's results. Shakeology is something I drink EVERYDAY and love it because it got rid of sweet cravings and gave me energy which as a mom I was lacking! Chocolate is my favorite!

What do you get with Insanity Max 30?
  • Two months of Maxed out Workouts and calendar
  • Specialized nutrition plan to help you see results
  • Bonus: Me as a coach
  • Free online accountability and support group. No reason to do this alone! Join and you can be a part of a group of people doing this, get accountability, support to complete the program, and FUN!

I love Shaun T -- Can I coach others with Insanity Max 30 for free?

YES!! If you order the challenge pack you can coach for FREE. Just click here to sign up and the 2nd pack will have the challenge pack listed. I will be in touch with you shortly to know you and your goals, and to add you to all the training!

Harvest your Hottie for Fall

How do you feel when you have accomplished something that you consider TOUGH?
These are the women I am looking for:
The ladies who think think that weight loss or confidence in their own skin is a very distant concept. The ones who think they have to feel uncomfortable forever because they “just can’t lose weight.”
I’m looking for them because I USE TO BE THEM!

Are you someone who would feel PROUD of YOURSELF if you were to drop 10-15 lbs? It is really not about the actual pounds as it is about you FEEL at your CURRENT weight---because you just don't feel good.
Can you relate?
You need to join me in my November 3rd Challenge. Seriously. You do.
I was VERY doubtful that a HOME workout program would make me lose the inches I lost and more so I was doubtful that the stubborn number on the scale would move. BUT 21 days later- it did! It can be done.
21 Day FIX is my VERY favorite program. WHY? It is short and sweet. You eat normal food. There is no confusion on what to eat with this program. You don't have to spend hours of prep time. It is SO simple. It is fun, especially when you combine it with a group of ladies doing the exact SAME thing!
There are many other programs we can choose from for you too if you would rather do something different. No matter what program you choose, you will have one on one support with me, a FUN, private group to be a part of for constant support and motivation, nutrition tips and meal ideas, and you will tone, tighten, and lose weight before the holiday pictures.

I am only accepting TEN women this time.
We are starting on NOVEMBER 3rd… last day to get committed is October 29… so lets get you all set up!
The Holidays are right around the corner and we want to Harvest your Inner Hottie! So I am only taking the 10 most serious ladies!
I want to use your before and better yet your AFTER pictures right here on my blog to encourage other women!
Real Results from my last group!
Apply here to be a part of this group!

What is PiYo?

Have you heard of PiYo yet? It was created by one of my favorite trainers, Chalene Johnson, (other programs include; TurboKick, TurboFire, TurboJam, Chalean Extreme, etc). It has been around in gyms for years, but now she has put together a PiYo workout for home DVD through Beachbody. I have taken a live class and have fallen in love. I can not wait for the new program to come out!

What is PiYo?

PiYo is a full body workout that is designed to build strength, increase endurance, and gain flexibility through a unique blend of Yoga and Pilates. The moves fit perfectly together to form a class filled with intense choreography that's fun, challenging, and will make you sweat. It is perfect for beginners or someone who is super fit. This workout is calorie torching and is all about energy, power, and rhythm. Think sculpted abs with increased overall core strength and greater stability.

This program is a low impact workout and there is no jumping or weights required. It will be an awesome option if you are traveling because all you will need are your workout clothes and a DVD player. How awesome is that?

PiYo Workout By Chalene Johnson Details

  • 60 day workout
  • 9 workouts total
  • 25-45 minute workouts
  • PiYo has modifications offered for beginners, and is great for advanced exercisers as well to help lengthen muscles and burn more calories. (If you don't follow Chalene on Instagram you should, its amazing to me how much HER body has changed in the last few months from doing PiYo!)
  • Coaches get the program a full two weeks before it is released through Beachbody. What does that mean? It means you can get this two weeks earlier than the public through me. Click here to leave your email so that you can get a reminder from me.

My experience with PiYo

I took a PiYo a live PiYo class. I have always had a love for Yoga, but this was so much more fun. I loved every muscle burning minute of it. I drenched in sweat just as if I had down Insanity. The next day I was so sore I could barely get out of bed! I love that kind of soreness though, because it lets me know that I got a great workout in!

This is how Chalene describes PiYo:  "PiYo™, a strength workout, is all about working it to get the most for your money. It’s the perfect blend of many disciplines: sports training, core conditioning, dance, stretch, and athletic drills that will help kick up the calorie burn and build muscle! The dynamic blend of movement increases strength, core stability, and agility. This workout provides an incredible experience and helps you lose weight."

By signing up your email you will be among the first to know the day PiYo is released you will also be eligble for free coaching from me as well as being placed in my PiYo test group. What is this test group? You will be among the first to see results from PiYo and be surrounded with other people doing the same workout for accountability and amazing support.

Beachbody conducted their own test group and here are some of the amazing results to come out of it:

Tips for Moms Trying to Lose Weight

When I had my first child, no one told me what to expect after I had her. I guess I was naïve in thinking that everything on my body would go back to normal! I vividly remember standing in front of the mirror with breast pads in, looking at myself and crying because I couldn’t believe that this was how was going to look from now on. I had never exercised or ate right so I had NO idea where to start! BUT I knew I had to do something because between trying to juggle a newborn and sleep I just felt so depressed over my weight and my new body!

It is so hard to balance your new baby (or toddler) and weight, diet, and exercise! It is scary to get started because what if you fail, or what if you don't know how? There are so many what ifs. One thing I know for sure is, is that if you don't start you will never know what could be. So here are some tips I have figured out along the way to getting fit post kids.

1.        Get an accountability buddy who will help to keep you motivated and keep you accountable to your diet and exercise. Get several buddies if you need them. If you are feeling like you want a cookie, text them and tell them and let them talk you out of it! This seriously works the best out of all my other tips. If I know someone is counting on me to be accountable then I am more likely to do it. I also treat it like a competition! I don’t want to break before anyone else, so I will keep going!

2.       If you need something sweet, make a healthier version of those desserts. There are tons and tons of recipes out there now. Pintrest is a great place to start, just type in clean eating desserts. That doesn’t mean that you can go crazy and have the whole pan. Remember to keep it small, but you won’t be eating bleached flour and refined sugar!

3.       Get ALL of the junk out of your house. Yes, this means your special stash of stuff too! When you make the decision to lose weight this is a necessity. If it isn’t there then you can’t eat it. Replace all of the junk food with nutritious foods. So that way when you go to the refrigerator or the cabinet for a snack the only options are healthy foods. Some options are fresh fruit, veggies, low-fat popcorn, string cheese, etc.

4.       Schedule your workouts. This is so important so that way you don’t make excuses! Find what works for your schedule and your new baby. Also, try and remember that you are human. If you miss a workout it won’t kill you as long as you are working out 3 or more times a week you will benefit from it!

5.        Find an exercise that you love and run with it. There is so much variety out there to choose from that you can find something that will work for you. Exercise classes such as Zumba or TurboKick, in home DVDs, boot camps, or the gym. Find something that you love and you will never dread it.

6.       Find somewhere that you can take Mommy and baby fitness classes and then you don’t have the excuse of no babysitter.

7.        Journal everything you eat. If you bite, then write it because sometimes you just really need to see how much you are putting into your mouth so that you can realize how much you are eating. For me I grazed a lot all day long! Once I realized this through putting it into myfitnesspal I was able to nip the habit in the bud!

8.       Plan a cheat meal and a treat each week. This doesn’t mean 2000 calories at one meal or making the whole day a cheat day because you don’t want to undo a whole week worth of doing good! If you completely deny yourself you are more likely to fail then if you allow yourself to indulge once a week.

9.       Don’t reduce your calories too much. We have been led to believe that we need to workout more and eat less. That is really not the way to go. Your body needs calories especially if you are working out. You need a minimum of 1200 calories if you are just sitting around all day. So you want to aim for 1500-1800 of good nutritious calories each day. There is absolutely no reason to starve while trying to lose weight. If you eat nutritiously you will find that the weight comes off and you will not be starving!

If you are a mom new or old and are looking to lose weight, follow these tips outline above. If you need any help doing it please feel free to email me at fitnic13@aol.com as my coaching is always free!

Getting back into my groove!

I am always hesitant to share about myself on my blog. I felt that this needed to be said because maybe someone else out there is feeling the same way. I have always been a super motivated and driven person when it comes to working out. Especially when I have a program and nutrition guide I can follow. The food and nutrition part has been a complete learning experience along the way. I always do lots of research on how to eat healthy, etc. As many of you know I did the 21 Day Fix, felt great about myself, had tons of energy, woke up feeling good and not tired, etc.  Then when we got done with it the 21 Day Fix, I took a couple of days off! When I was going to get back into it I had some stresses enter my life. I seriously turned to food for comfort. Why? Because I am without a doubt the most emotional eater you will ever eat. Chocolate fixes everything, or so I told myself!

I really let those life stresses take over. I worked out, but it was halfhearted. I ate out every day for about 3-4 weeks. I also consumed my fair share of junk food and candy. This is totally unlike me, I normally allow a little in moderation, but not like this! What is weird is that the more I moved away from my healthy lifestyle the more I started letting the unhealthy lifestyle take over. It is SO easy to backslide on eating healthy and not working out. I was looking for any excuse to get out of working out each day. Any excuse to eat whatever I wanted. I just couldn’t say NO!  Really strange behavior for me because I really never just quit or give up. I have goals, and one of those is some ABS!!!

It took me a while to recognize what was happening! I had been feeling weak and not myself for a few days. I sat back one afternoon and realized that I had eaten out every day that week. No wonder I felt like crap, weak, and had a headache every day! What is totally ridiculous about this is that I spent $180 at the grocery store that week and then still ate out every day at $25-$30 a pop to feed my big family. What a waste of money and can we say DUMB?!!  When I realized that I had slowly let that unhealthy lifestyle take back over my life I set a date on when to start back on my journey to reach my goals for myself and my body. I am taking it seriously. I don’t want to fell miserable and out of sorts. I don’t want to let my feelings lead my nutrition any longer!

I planned out my meals; for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What I do most days is cook more at dinner so that I can have leftovers for lunch. Makes it super simple to figure lunch out and really easy to follow, and if it works why change it?

It is super easy to let stresses pull you under when you are trying to get fit, lose weight, just be healthy, or all the other reasons why you want to eat healthy and lose weight. What matters most is that you just start or get started again. It is not easy to let junk food go, but you know what after a couple of days of not having it the cravings go away. The more you eat of it the more you want. Right?! So get started at it, it doesn’t matter if you are slow about it or can’t work out every day. Don’t let your emotional ties to food or the stresses in your life keep you from getting started or restarted! JUST DO IT! One thing that I LOVE about health, fitness, and nutrition is that the journey never ends! Experiment, find what works for you! It is not one size fits all. So research and get started!

I have been back at it for 2 days now, and I am already feeling better about myself. It feels good to have a plan and actually stick to it. It makes it feel like all the chaos in your life is not going to take back over and knock you down! Does that make sense?

I am always here to help you if you want it, reach out, send me a message, and let’s talk about YOUR goals.

New Year's Resoultions

Let's talk about your New Year's Resolutions! What are they? Do you know yet? Have you thought about it?

Mine are:
1. To expand my cooking abilities so that I can provide more nutritious meals for my family.
2. I don't want to lose any more weight, but I want to get more tone and lose inches around my waist. 2 inches in the      waist to be exact.
3. To pay off all debt except for student loans (those will take a little longer).
4. To become a two star diamond coach.
5. To buy a house when we move.
6. Go to Disney World again

How do I go about accomplishing this?

Plan ahead.
It's 11:59 PM on December 31st—do you know what your resolution is? For the best chance of success, set your goals long before you want to start them. Wiseman says that reflecting on your goals a few days before the New Year will make you more likely to choose a meaningful resolution2—which, of course, will make you more motivated to work for it. Still haven't set a goal? That's okay. Make one now and set yourself a start date a few days from now.
Shout it from the rooftops . . .
. . . or at least share it online. According to Wiseman's research, women were more likely to succeed if they told their friends and family about their goals.3 After all, you wouldn't want to fail in front of a few hundred of your closest friends, colleagues, and high school exes—would you? Make your resolution Facebook® official, tweet about it, or post a "before" photo on Instagram®. Accountability is your friend.
Strategize.
Once you've decided on your Big Important Goal, come up with a few smaller objectives that can help you get there. If you resolve to lose weight, commit to doing your INSANITY® workout every day. Or hire a personal trainer and buy sessions in bulk. Or take a two-mile hike every weekend. "Intention is very different than action," says Daniel C. Stettner, Ph.D., director of Psychology at UnaSource Health Center in Troy, MI, and an adjunct professor at Wayne State University in Detroit. "People have to come up with tactics and strategies. Otherwise, it's like driving to a destination without directions—you're not going to be successful."
Think positive . . . but not too positive.
Notebook with New Year Resolutions on themIf you paid attention in English class, you might remember "doublethink" from Orwell's 1984—the ability to accept two opposing beliefs as truth. In this case, you need to accept that you can succeed and that you can fail. In his book, 59 Seconds: Think a Little, Change a Lot, Wiseman points to research by psychologist Gabriele Oettingen, who found that imagining success kept people motivated, while imagining failure helped them form "avoidance goals."4 In other words, it's okay to fantasize about firing your annoying cube mate when you become manager—but also devise a Plan B in case you get passed over for this round of promotions.
Know thy enemy.
Willpower is overrated. According to a recent study in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, people were more likely to be successful if they avoided temptation altogether rather than expecting superhuman self-control to kick in.5 So figure out what changes you can make to sidestep your biggest roadblocks—can you take a different route to work that doesn't pass a bagel shop? Can you block Facebook on your computer to free up more time for new projects? Can you switch from your usual hangout to a non-smoking bar? A few small lifestyle changes can prevent big pitfalls.
Reward yourself.
We all love instant gratification. So when you're pursuing a long-term goal like weight loss or digging out of debt, short-term rewards will help you power through. Just make sure the rewards jibe with the ultimate goal—don't reward a week of workouts by eating an entire chocolate cake. If you're trying to slim down, for example, Dr. Stettner suggests buying a new outfit you can't squeeze into (yet!) or working out with a friend so the reward is built-in.
Don't let setbacks derail you.
Spoiler alert: You're human, so you're going to screw up. Don't let it discourage you, and don't use it as an excuse to let the rest of the day (or weekend, or month) go down the tubes. "There are going to be lapses, but a lapse doesn't have to be a collapse or a relapse," Dr. Stettner says. "Seek persistence rather than the dirty P-word, perfection. Don't think, 'I went off the plan today, so I'll start over tomorrow.' Salvage it. Save the day."

Struggling to lose weight!

Have you always been taught that you need to exercise more and eat less to lose weight? Has this left you struggling to follow a workout plan because all you can think about is food? This leaves you starving and then you binge. Then you think to yourself well I have blown my diet, so I will just eat what I want today and start over tomorrow. Then when tomorrow comes you say well I will just start over Monday, right? Monday comes and you just don't have the energy to do the whole diet over again!

I KNOW how this feels. It does not have to be this way! You can eat and lose weight. I know this sounds crazy because we have always been told to keep our calories low to lose weight. As long as you are working out you can eat more calories. You don't have to eat a bunch of nontasty foods. Do you have to eat healthy? Yes of course! Does it have to be stuff you don't like? NO!!!

When I started my journey 4 years ago I had NO idea about how to eat healthy. Honestly, I thought eating healthy was a no carb diet! Which was so popular at the time. I tried that and did lose a little weight, but because I was exercising I was SO tired. I quit that and went back to eating the junk I had always eaten. I didn't get the results that I had planned on getting, BUT what happened was that I didn't quit exercising. It made me feel good, it made me feel healthy. What happened next is that I plugged in to communities of healthy people and did tons of research. I have learned so much along the way. How to eat clean and unprocessed foods as much as possible. How to do this slowly over time, so that you won't fail this time. I have lost 30 pounds by eating healthy, working out, and drinking Shakeology. I feel healthier than I have ever felt. My passion is to help people feel the same!

Does this sound like something that would benefit you? Have you tried losing weight and exercising but failed because the "diet" was just to hard? I know that feeling all to well. I have overcome it though and I would love to help you overcome it too! My new group starts on Jan 1. If you want to be a part of that and get support to help you lose this weight fill out this challenger application:

P90X3 will be here December 10th!

P90X3 will be here December 10th on sale for the month of December plus a FREE P90X3 hat when you order by signing up for a free account here!

P90X3

My very first Beachbody program was P90 and then P90X, although I have never done P90X2 I am super pumped for P90X3! Why am I so excited????

First, this program is NOT a graduate program. That means that if you have never done P90X or P90X2 it is totally okay and you can do P90X3! Secondly, all 20 workouts are 30 minutes! BOOM! This is awesome compared to the long workouts of P90X which could be an hour and fifteen minutes long. Who has time for that? I know since I am a busy mom I certainly do not have time for that. I LOVE Tony Horton though, he is funny during the workouts and serious about fitness. 30 minutes is going to be perfect for me as a busy Mom!

I will be running a P90X3 test group of my own. What does this mean? You buy the challenge pack on december 10- December 31 and you will be placed in my exclusive P90X3 test group. You will be among the first people to try the program and see the results YOU get from the program. I will provide accountability and support for you and the other participants in my challenge group daily as well as weekly phone calls to keep you on track. If this sounds like something that would benefit you please sign up for a free account here and email me at fitnic13@aol.com with subject line "P90X3 test group". Group will be starting January 1st, just in time to meet those New Year's resolutions!

Tony says, "You know what I keep hearing lately? "Tony, your programs are awesome, they make me look incredible. But an hour every day? Come on . . .!!! I get it. You want the results, and you're willing to do the work, but your freakin' schedule is jam-packed."
So what did he do about this? He took everything he learned from P90X and P90X2 and coupled it with new science that shows intense 30 minute workouts can get you in better shape faster and slammed it all into overdrive! The results? Short, targeted, intense workouts that take just 30 minutes--but leave you looking like you'be been tearing it up in the gym all day, every day.

Results from the P90X3 Test Group:

Seeing the results from the test group completely sold me on this program. I know 30 minutes is something that is total doable with my schedule, but I also know that it is going to totally kick my butt too. The results in these pictures just go to show you that 30 minutes can be effective. As a matter of fact all but one of the test group participates lost 10% of their body fat in the 90 day program. Isn't that amazing?? 10% is a lot, wouldn't it be phenominal to get these results?

What will you need for P90X3?

Tony said NO running shoes of any kind because these will actually hurt your feet. He says go for cross training, volleyball, or babsketball shoes. The reason is that you will be moving laterally and all around not just forward like in running, and these types of shoes will give you the support you need while keep your feet protected!

Ordering P90X3

Sign up here for a free account and I will send you a reminder email on December 10th. P90X3 will be available by itself or in a Challenge Pack (P90X3 + Shakeology + nutrition plan + a 30 Day Club Membership with Meal Planning Tools) on December 10, 2013. IT WILL BE AT A SALE PRICE!! It will be $180 for December and back up to $205 after December 31, 2013.

If you order through me, or your existing Beachbody coach, by December 31st, you’ll also receive a free 1-on-1 leg workout DVD by Tony and a P90X3 hat. (Sign up for first access to P90X3 through a email reminder) www.teambeachbody.com/msfroggie7
I’ll also be doing P90X3 with a small test group starting January 1st, so if you want in the group please let me know now so I can save you a spot! Email me at fitnic13@aol.com with the subject line “P90X3 Challenge Group”
They also broke down when the program would arrive for anyone wanting to get ready for the new year.
If you want it by Christmas, you need to order it between 12/10-12/15.
If you want it by January 1st, you need to order between 12/10-12/22.
They do predict the individual workout will sell out. You will be able to buy it in a pack through 12/31 for the sale price!
